Ok, so yeah...

Likely, the next ramblings you read here will be a Jack Hannah book review -  Yes, the goofy animal guy. The book is entitled: "Jungle Jack's The Wackiest, Wildest, and Weirdest Animals in the World."

Yes, I'm 28.

Eliana, my daughter will be helping, as it's picture book-esque qualities would point in her general direction - not so much mine. Although my wife may disagree as to whom this book is more geared toward.

Enthrallment to commence in about a week...

The Noticer: A Review

Well, I can say that I haven’t read too many Christian themed books that have fictional elements, but the Noticer really brought some good points to light.

Not too long ago, I found myself trapped in a “the glass is half empty” mindset, but after reading this book, I have noticed that lately I have been thinking about life much more like Jones. That is, with a different perspective, and to be happy with the things you have – rather than focusing on the things you are lacking. Although this idea seems like a simplistic one to overcome, the worldly things we encounter every day as Christians makes it easy to forget about how great our lives really are. Like it’s stated in the book, life is all about perspective.

For those who say this book was a real page turner, I agree. I read it in two sittings over a pot of coffee. Although I think the book was maybe 50 pages too long (the point was made very early on in the book), it has a nice flow to it which enables you to get sucked into it rather easily. I would recommend it to someone who has a few hours to kill on a plane, or car ride as it is an easy book to understand with distractions around.

Welcome!

So, for whatever reason, you're looking at my blog. I have no idea how you got here. Maybe you don't even know. Maybe you thought this blog would be about hash browns?

People blog for a lot of reasons. I for one have never been to up on the idea of letting everyone know what's going on in my brain at all times, but as a recovering journalist I thought it might be somewhat therapeutic to start to put my words onto e-paper once again.

I cannot guarantee that anything I write here will be insightful, thought provoking, or inspiring in any way shape or form. Leave now if you're looking to me to give you all the answers - or any of them for that matter.

So, now all of that's out in the open, lets go!
